The Mauritius Amateur Radio Society (MARS) is fully supporting the MIR-SAT 1 project and its members are deeply involved with the project. With the support of Licenced Radio Amateurs students will be able to get acquainted with radio transmission from LEO satellites and amateur radio in general. Radio Amateur activities around MIR-SAT1 project will be published on this page as the project progresses.
The MIR-SAT1 is scheduled for deployment from the ISS on 22nd of June at 10:55 UTC.
Uplink Frequency : 145.9875 MHz
Downlink Frequency: 436.925 MHz
Thanks to the close collaboration from the Radio Amateurs Community, beacon telemetry decoders were developed for the MIR-SAT1 satellite. All telemetry will be automatically uploaded to SatNogs.
We encourage each and everyone to download the decoders and support us in making this project successful.
