Synopsis

The India Mauritius Joint Satellite (IMJS) is being developed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in collaboration with the Mauritius Research and Innovation Council (MRIC). IMJS satellite is built on ISRO Nano Satellite (INS) -2 Bus with an advanced multispectral imager payload having wide variety of applications in various domains.

IMJS is being realized jointly with an objective of sharing the knowledge on spacecraft building, hands-on-training on assembly & integration of spacecraft systems, and capacity building of space technology in general. The current workshop is held to extend the scope of IMJS to the probable users and stake holders of satellite data.

The session will feature participation of system engineers and domain experts from ISRO, covering key areas of mission design, electrical & mechanical systems, and payload development. The interactive sessions will provide a comprehensive understanding of the multi-disciplinary approach adopted for IMJS development and its potential applications.
